Young men and women from lower income families do not get their general health checked on a regular basis. The unfortunate consequences are that breadwinners in such homes  suddenly lose their lives or suffer major health conditions like paralysis,stroke, heart attack etc without any prior notice. Once the breadwinner in incapacitated the family suffers and is left with no future. With an intent to provide free health checks at their doorsteps and identify their ailments in early stages we have created a team of six para medical assistants who will reach every adult in the community and record their blood pressure,sugar levels etc on a regular basis. The ones found to have high blood pressure, diabetes etc are referred to our own charity clinics. Sustained follow up of such patients and the holistic lifestyle changes recommended by our doctors have saved dozens of young breadwinners from impending ailments. This program was launched on the first of January 2024 and has thus far registered and regularly tests more than 600 such people in the slums of Rajendranagar.
